Florentina Leitner SS25

Florentina Leitner's SS25 at PFW was nothing short of magical! I still can’t believe I made it up five flights of stairs to this charming little French parlor on the "4th" floor (a French 4th floor is an American 5th). When I finally arrived, the staff were in a bit of a frenzy trying to find me a seat. But you know what? I politely declined. I had a hunch that standing right by the entrance would give me the best shots, and as suspected, was I right. The allocation felt like the "economy plus" of fashion shows, gave me just enough of what I needed.

Marie Adam Leenaerdt SS25

Perched precariously over a railing at a Paris Metro station, I witnessed a spectacle that most attendees would never have imagined. The makeshift backstage area, set in the street outside the café venue, was a hive of frenzied activity. Show producers, visibly stressed, shouted instructions in rapid-fire French, their voices carrying urgency and frustration. Yet, amidst this chaos, the models emerged from the building with an air of serenity, each one a vision of poise and beauty.

CFCL SS25

Waiting in line to get into the show is half the fun. The que is full of beautifully put together Japanese influencers and Parisian socialites. There's nothing quite like it. The runway itself was a spectacle, colored in a striking gradation of vitamin orange that set the stage for an unforgettable show. The atmosphere was further enhanced by the ethnic and contemporary sounds performed by the Slovenian trio Širom, creating a dynamic backdrop for the collection.

Julie Kegels SS25

As I arrived at La Résidence de la Muette, the ambiance shifted dramatically, reminiscent of lounging by a pool in California rather than navigating through the cold drizzle of Paris. This remarkable transformation was not just a visual delight but a testament to Kegels' ability to evoke feelings of warmth and glamour amid less-than-ideal conditions.

True to his signature style, Pressiat seamlessly blended the streets of Paris with its vibrant nightlife. The collection showcased a unique juxtaposition of softness and assertive lines. Earthy tones like ochre, brown, burgundy, and cactus green dominated the palette, while figure-hugging silhouettes in floor-sweeping skirts and dresses contrasted beautifully with petal-layered miniskirts.

For Season 4, Constantinou continues to explore how extreme climates shape culture and style. This season, the focus shifts to the desert, drawing inspiration from its harsh conditions; scorching days and freezing nights. KNWLS SS25

The KNWLS show at London Fashion Week was a long-awaited highlight for me, akin to Edina Monsoon from Absolutely Fabulous desperately trying to gain Stella McCartney's favor. "What? No KNWLS?" I found myself asking every season until, finally, an invite arrived.

Mark Fast SS25

By this time I was already 3 shows down and had 3 more to go. It was the first day of London Fashion Week and we truly hit the ground running.
