ATLEIN SS25
The Palais de Tokyo, buzzing with anticipation..."Is that Ashley Graham?" I frantically texted Coco. He couldn't make it to the show but confirmed that my eyes were not deceiving me. She looked absolutely stunning in her ATLEIN ensemble. ATLEIN can make everything unbearably sexy. Silhouettes that look like they are too close cut for it to be flattering on every figure, is not so thanks to the genius of Antonin Tron. Everything is so cleverly designed that the fabric hugs and wraps around the body in a way that is not only flattering but controlled as well. You are your best self in ATLEIN.
Drawing inspiration from the radical lesbian movements of the 1980s and 90s in London, Tron's SS25 collection was a rebellious love letter to self expression. Think punk meets polish, with a dash of fetish for good measure. The runway was awash with ATLEIN's signature drapes, but this time they were dancing with strong suiting and military inspired outerwear. It's like Tron took the essence of those badass "Rebel Dykes" from Thatcher's London and distilled it into wearable art. The result? A collection that screams "I am woman, hear me roar", but make it fashion.
Muted grays, browns, and off-whites might sound dull, but in Tron's hands, they became a moody symphony. It's giving a decidedly couture "I woke up like this." Tron's commitment to sustainability also shone through with his exploration of vegan leather alternatives. Who knew specially coated jerseys could look so deliciously like nappa and suede? In essence, ATLEIN SS25 is not just a collection it's a manifesto. It's Tron saying, "Here's to the rebels, the misfits, the ones who dare to be different." And in a world that often feels too cookie-cutter, this celebration of individuality is exactly what we need. Embrace your inner rebel, wrap yourself in ATLEIN, and strut like the world is your runway. Because in Tron's vision, it absolutely is.
