Artisan Liberation
Helen Anthony AW22
Helen Anthony launches the AW22 collection, "Artisan Liberation" digitally at London Fashion Week. As much anticipated follow-up to the acclaimed SS22 collection, "Artisan Liberation" focuses on craftsmanship, freedom and romance. These elements are at the core of the label's DNA.
Anthony blurs the lines of gender and breaks out of conforming stereotypes. Through the use of structure, silhouette and tailoring, this season approaches fashion with an an inclusive attitude. "Artisan Liberation" takes ques from the decadent and revolutionary decade of the 1970s. Double breasted suits, plaids and disco influences softly echo throughout this collection. Oversized tailoring is masterfully done as to look neatly and purposefully oversized. Large shoulders and lapels unapologetically adorn the wearer, giving them bravado in their strut.
This collection has unexpected depth through the vast array of textiles. Utilizing natural fibers such as cashmere and wool tartan as well as velvet and sustainable vegan leather. "Artisan Liberation" is a celebration of individuality and self expression. Helen Anthony is proud to use mostly sustainable fabrics that are made in the UK in collaboration with Huddersfield Fabrics and Lochcarron of Scotland. All of the highly skilled hand embroidery in this collection was produced by S.N Murarka.
