Ray Chu SS25

Day two of London Fashion Week (LFW) had me feeling like a walking zombie. I took a solid nap before diving into the fashion frenzy. But today was extra special because Sabrina was finally joining me for her very first LFW experience. As we arrived, Sabrina didn't know where to look or what to expect, it was visually a lot. The crowd was an eclectic mix of fashion influencers, some rocking full-on cosplay outfits, while others were adorable little kindergarteners strutting their stuff in tutus and carrying beaded Malteezers bags (which I totally need btw).

Now, let’s talk about the star of the show—Ray Chu's SS25 collection. This season, he took inspiration from the stunning crinum asiaticum flower, which he stumbled upon during a jog. Who knew a casual run could lead to such floral magic? The collection featured vibrant colors like fiery red and icy yellow, perfectly balanced with classic black and white. The playful designs included flared mini skirts and flowerpot-inspired dresses that made you want to twirl around.

Chu also brought some serious tech to the runway with 3D printing. Gorgeous blooms crafted from discarded wires and let’s not forget the sustainable fabrics made from recycled fish scales and water chestnut yarns. It’s eco-friendly fashion at its finest. To add an extra layer of fun to the day, guests were treated to “Wave”, a trendy non-alcoholic drink inspired by the sober curious movement. This herbal concoction promised to redefine relaxation, unwinding is so chic.

Overall, Ray Chu's SS25 collection was not just about fabulous fashion; it was a joyful celebration of culture, sustainability, and creativity. As Sabrina and I soaked it all in, we couldn’t help but feel inspired by the magic of LFW; complete with whimsical outfits and adorable little trendsetters. Here’s to more days filled with fashion fun and maybe even a nap or two in between.
