Noon by Noor SS25

I really like it when designers showcase their collections at the same place. I think it brings a sense of tradition and ease. I was very happy to attend Noon by Noor at Somerset House again this season for their SS25 collection, "Ray of Light". The space itself really supported the vision of a dreamy interplay of light and shadow. The models emerged one by one from the shadows and into the light, took a turn about the room and we all got to see how the light plays off of each look.

Founders Shaikha Noor and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa drew inspiration from the transformative effects of light on fabrics, incorporating translucent materials like sequined tulle and techno cotton poplin. The collection featured beautifully draped and ruched dresses. Each detail contributing to the complexity of light and shadow. My personal favorites were the blue chiffon and sequins knee length dress with a tie front and also the hooded sequins windbreaker that was paired with a long skirt. It was like Cinderella, but make it athleisure.

Accompanied by a unique soundscape, the presentation created an immersive experience that celebrated the modern woman's strength and grace.
