LOEWE Opens in Chicago!!!

If anybody has been following me for the last couple of years you probably would have picked up on the fact that I am just a little bit obsessed with the Spanish label Loewe but have been trying to hide it (to not show favoritism) for some time. I thought that I had hit the pinnacle of my love for Loewe when I visited their Paris store on Avenue Montaigne this past summer. The experience was elevated, beautiful, exciting, tantalizing and felt like new luxury. I was heartbroken to leave the experience behind and had wished that it was available in my hometown of Chicago. Well I think for once my fairy godmother was actually listening because...

Loewe opened a store in Chicago.

Yes you heard right, on October 7th Loewe opened its doors on the prominent and glamorous Oak Street. Creative director Jonathan Anderson brought to life the "Casa Loewe" retail concept by establishing a fluid relationship between sculpture, furniture and handcrafted objects to resemble a well curated home. The store features a full offering of women's ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and other coveted accessories.

Retail in Chicago has suffered immensely since 2020. To see its heartbeat revived in the last year or two has been very exciting. This recent overhaul feels improved, updated and resurrecting luxury the Midwest. With brands like Loewe spearheading this upturn in nouveau luxury retail, we are all extremely excited to see what the upcoming seasons will look like.
